Originally, Axial's WB8 driveshaft set is plastic molded, which it can only withstand so much bashing that these plastic shaft will eventually bend or break. So what's so special about GPM's steel main shaft is that it is a direct replacement of the stock plastic. Unlike the stock part, which the driveshaft is a two piece part, GPM has made it so that you won't have to worry about loosing your other half. The steel main shaft is a single piece but fully adjustable.
