OPTION 1

REAR LEAF SPRINGS CONVERSION

 

If you are planning to add just the rear leaf springs to the BRX01 and run linked suspension up front, these following parts are needed.

 

"Must Have" parts:

Rear Leaf Spring Conversion Kit BRLC7064

 

 

"Good To Have" parts:

If you are using the original stock skid plate with the Rear Leaf Spring Conversion Kit, installing this slider adds protection to the bottom of the chassis and will help with sliding through debris and rocks.

"Optional Performance" Parts

This is an optional high clearance skid plate - it adds 4.5mm additional ground clearance without changing the center of gravity of the t-case, which is a plus. The high clearance skid plate is a direct replacement of the stock skid plate, and there is a rear slider made specifically for this optional skid plate. Here are the two parts:

OPTION 2

FULL LEAF SPRINGS CONVERSION (FRONT & REAR)

 

"Must Have" parts:

The Front Leaf Spring Conversion Kit and the Rear Leaf Spring Conversion Kit are now available for a full leaf spring suspension swap for the BRX01 chassis. Both leaf spring kits come with one master leaf and three graduated leaves for adjustability.

"Good To Have" parts:

If you want a better driving experience with the full leaf spring truck, these front and rear sliders for the original stock skid plate will help. The B3D nylon sliders help shield and protect the front and rear portions of the transfer case and skid plate. They build a smooth surface around the skid plate for the truck to slide better over obstacles.

"Optional Performance" Parts

Upgrade the center skid plate using the BRX02 Leaf Spring High Clearance Skid Plate BRX020020LF for an additional 6mm in clearance gain with the center of gravity remaining unchanged. The Front & Rear Sliders BRLC7095 are specifically designed for this skid plate swap on the BRX01.

The original shocks on the BRX01 can be reused with the leaf spring conversion kits. However, the KUDU shocks have an overall improvement on oil seals for better performance, as well as a nicer scale appearance than the original shocks.

SUMMARY

There are multiple ways to swap the suspension from linked to leaf springs; there is the rear leaf spring setup with stock skid plate; then there is a front and rear leaf spring setup with stock skid plate. If you want to upgrade the performance at the same time, you may choose to use the high clearance skid plates, which are available for both rear leaf spring only, and the full leaf spring conversion.
