This new motor mount from GRC is a great new upgrade for theTraxxas TRX-4. The motor plate and spur gear cover have now been integrated together and is constructed out of one piece of aeronautical aluminum.

Being made out of one piece has a few added benefits:

• It adds extra strength and rigidity
• It has less gaps for dust and dirt to get into the spur and pinion gear
• It solves the issue of the motor plate becoming loose over time

Additionally, there are multiple benefits of this one-piece upgrade.

• For convenience the back has a cover that can be removed for quick and easy access to the pinion and spur gear ensuring that you can fine tune the gear mesh easily
• The whole piece being constructed out of aluminum also helps dissipate heat from the motor
• GRC has even provided 4 location holes for you to attach a cooling fan directly to the motor mount so no need for those clip on heat sinks any more just to fit a cooling fan

• Functional characteristics: The unique integrated design solves the hidden trouble of the motor base loosening in the original factory.
• Split type regulation window design can quickly and accurately on the gear position of the motor for fine tuning, can quickly check the main gear and gear meshing condition directly.
• The whole metal theme can effectively assist the heat dissipation of the motor.
• 4 screw holes are reserved so you are able to fit a cooling fan directly onto the motor mount.
