Update & Pictures Of The New MST 1/10 CFX & 1/8 CFX-W Crawler
The new MPA-Axle looks quite similar to the G-Made R1 Axles. The adjustable wheelbase is a nice touch. Tires on the 1/10 CFX are similar to the CMX chassis which aren't the softest tires in the market, but have good traction.
New tires for the 1/8 CFX-W seem more performance based. Front motor with transfer case, axle mounted servo, adjustable chassis, all around aluminum links. These are similar features to the SCX10 and SCX10 II. The front motor is scale, but sits quite high. The battery will need to be relocated to the front for any serious crawling.
Overall it looks like MST is becoming a contender and getting serious in the scale crawling scene with the release of these two new crawlers. The portal axles have some advantages such as increased clearance, and reduce torque with the same power.
The 1/10 CFX will be available to purchase at ATees by mid to late December get your pre-order in so you don’t miss out on this and the 1/8 CFX-W will be early January pre-order available soon.
