Top 5 Mini Scale RC Cars 2014

Traxxas 1/16 Mini E-Revo

1/16th scale Mini E-Revo is Traxxas's first try of combining all the speed, quality and capability that are available now into an 14 inches long model. The E-Revo VXL is about half the size of the 1/10-scale E-Revo. But it is a whole new category of RC performance and fun that no other mini-model can match. Traxxas features the Velineon brushless motor to the Mini E-Revo, making it plain fast. At 30+mph with the included 6-cell NiMH battery, this mini car is nearly twice as fast as most mini models, even faster than most electric RTR trucks of any scale. If the speed is what you are chasing after, then go with the Mini E-Revo.

Kyosho 1/24 Mini-Z

If you are okay with even smaller scale models, then Mini-Z is the one you must have. Its precision compact chassis features a shaft driven 4WD with a two-differential drive train incorporating a slipper clutch to protect gears with oil shocks on the 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension, just like a true 1/10 racing buggy. Twin battery boxes are incorporated into the shell structure of the chassis, which realizes exceptional rigidity to extract 100% effectiveness from the suspension. Various style of Mini-Z also is an advantage, especially for young racers.

HPI 1/18 Micro RS4 / Drift (Micro RS4 Drift Discount Tire S13)

Other than 1/16th and 1/24th scale, 1/18th scale model is also a big part of the mini RC. If you are into drifting, then the Micro RS4 Drift will be a great choice for you. This 4WD, fully-featured drift car is fitted with hard plastic drift tires and locked differentials for instant sideways action and is fully tunable for bumper-to-bumper drift fun indoors or out. A replica of Dai Yoshihara's super-cool Nissan S13 with Discount Tire sponsorship and Dai's eye-catching red and white livery tops the car for awesome scale looks.
