Asian Fix Enduro

The FIX Enduro is an RC endurance event featuring three classes: 3 Hour, 6 Hour, and 12 Hour, where drivers aim to finish with a “Plus One” lap. The 12 Hour Class showcases products with the “RECON G6 Certified” stamp, pushing participants to their limits, with only a few achieving a marathon distance. The 3 Hour and 6 Hour classes cater to beginners and drivers of all ages, providing a fun introduction to endurance racing. While not intended for the masses, it offers a unique experience for RC scale adventure drivers, leaving participants relieved yet eager for the next challenge.

3-Hour Diva: Elena Chan – The Youngest Champion in Fix Enduro History

At just 6 1/2 years old, Elena Chan made history as the youngest to win the 3-hour Diva category in the Fix Enduro, completing 9 laps for third place. Her skill and composure inspired young enthusiasts, proving that talent and passion transcend age.

Badass Top Truck Challenge

The Badass Top Truck Challenge (TTC) is a fan-favorite event at RECON G6 and a personal favorite of Brian Parker, the event’s mastermind. Combining adrenaline-pumping excitement with technical challenges, the TTC is as thrilling for spectators as it is for drivers.

This year, drivers competed in five unique challenges, including a Rock Garden and a Mud Pit, but the most feared test of all was the Obstacle Course, requiring precision and nerves of steel. Each challenge was divided into three sectors, with drivers earning points based on their performance and penalties for errors like rollovers or boundary violations.

Day 2: November 3, 2024

Introducing the BRX Draconic Challenge

One of the standout highlights of this year’s event was the BRX Draconic Challenge, an inaugural competition celebrating Boom Racing founder Jason Tsang's visionary approach to scale RC adventure. This event emphasized not just performance but also the soul and spirit of scale RC vehicles, as embodied by Boom Racing's BRX platforms.

Participants chose their favorite BRX platforms to tackle this mysterious and thrilling event, navigating courses designed to challenge even the most skilled drivers. Much like a dragon's lair, the challenges were kept under wraps until the drivers' meeting, heightening anticipation and excitement.

Mini Comp

Don’t let their size fool you—these 1/16 and 1/18 scale RCs are proof that great things come in small packages. Designed for big adventure in tiny form, these micro crawlers showcased incredible capability on the trail.

No magnifying glass was needed to enjoy the action, but you might have wished for one to catch every intricate detail of these vehicles in motion. The creativity and performance on display were truly inspiring, as participants brought their builds to life in a series of exciting challenges.

Top Performers

After an intense competition, the following drivers stood out as champions:

  • 1st Place: Yishan Ma
  • 2nd Place: Forrest Wu
  • 3rd Place: Yi Xuan Zeng

Congratulations to these talented competitors for proving that even the smallest vehicles can make the biggest impact!

Asiatees Terra X U4 Racing

The Terra X offers a unique twist on backyard U4 RC racing. Racers compete from an area called the “Driver’s Donut,” where they can move freely while racing. Unlike typical tracks, there are no corner marshals—if a vehicle can’t be righted, it becomes “track art” for the rest of the race. Races feature 3-lap heats and a 5-lap Main Event. All drivers advance, but they fiercely compete for starting positions. Here, TQ (Top Qualifier) has little significance. The goal is to race smart, keep the rubber side down, and survive the excitement of Terra X.

Scaletra Beta Launch and Challenge Champions

A key highlight of the event was the successful beta launch of the Scaletra app. This cutting-edge platform combines technology with adventure, tracking, and gamifying the scale trail experience. The launch included four distinct challenges: the 30m Elevation Challenge, 3km Distance, 3000 Steps, and the Day 2 - 3 km Challenge.

Congratulations to the following participants who completed all 4 of these challenges and showcased their skills while using the app:

  • Darryl Tan
  • Gordon Tham
  • Mohammad Shahrin Mandalam

Your dedication and performance exemplify the true spirit of scale trail adventure!
