Good finish. It is advisable to use threaded pins on the threads so that they do not loosen with the use when being metal.

Excellent quality and perfect fitment - this really does improvethe steering on the CC-01 chassis - a must have item.

This steering assembly was another major improvement to my truck helped make for better steering.

I am not very happy with this. Combined with the lower plate, it requires some adaptations to avoid friction of both parts. Overall it is way better than the stock pieces!
Other Upgrades/Parts Recommended by Reviewer: I suggest to launch a FULL KIT of steering and front suspension bundle pack. It is very easy to miss 1 part of the upgrade and you will have to wait other 2-3 weeks to receive it to install.overall

This almost works. The flats on the shaft wear out after a couple of turns of the servo and introduce slop. The rest of the parts are nice though. Could do with some instructions as it can be put together in different ways.

Probably one of the best upgrades for the CC01 is this steering system. Just remember to thread lock your screws because they always come loose and its a pain to get back in there and tighten them up.

No description follows and it's very easy to mount different parts incorrectly. After some investigation I swapped the nylon bushings and everything works great. The aluminum pipe is very soft and will likely wear out soon.

Must have if you still have the original parts, removes 90% of steering slop and smoother movement.

Great upgrade for the CC-01 less slop only complaint was bent screws but replaced so gave 4 stars on fit and finish remember to use locktite its your friend.

It has a weak point, becomes loose and passes binding, I've had to replace.

Amazing quality and assuring warranty. Really fast shipping with tracking. The product removes slop created by the stock wire links and removes a lot of play in the shaft. Smooth steering action.

I was hoping that this kit would solve the poor steering assembly of the CC-01 chassis. In theory the design looks very promising, but they made the vertical shaft that transmits the steering torque through the chassis out of aluminum. This shaft has flats on each end that are supposed to mesh with the upper/lower steering horns. The cheap and weak aluminum they used resulted in a stripped out shaft and a useless steering system.

Horrible fit. Major tolerance issues. The head portions on the shaft is a loose fit onto the lower and upper arms. Even when tightened there is a degree of movement at both ends. Need to jam some tape and threadlock the screws and add washers to steering brace.

This upgrade is far better than the stock part but there is still a lot of play. You need to add few shims to the bearings to make it sturdy and he groove on the left axle is not deep enough to handle the steering torque. With time, it wears easily, adding more play.

this 'upgrade' is no better than the stock plastic pieces that it replaces.
