Keeps the motor more firmly in place. Only comes with 1 set of counter sunk screws, where as it really needs a set for the motor as well as the mounting tubes.

A must have upgrade for the plastic part. But advisable to replace the round head screws with countersunk because they do not make for a good fit. Generally a great item though.

Should come with a couple extra screws to secure the mount to the chassis. Other than that, it fits fine. You'll need it if youre gearing up or converting to brushless.

The (2) countersunk screws were great. It requires (4) though! Why would it come with (2) pan head screws? I had to look all over to find (2) more of the metric countersunk screws, and I could not even find them in the right length, had to cut them down once I did find them.

Item replaces original perfectly on reissue F150 truck & it holds up to motor heat better than plastic. Be aware that the mount holes do not have the pinion tooth count on them like the original, so compare it to your original part so that you use the correct holes. VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

The strength of the aluminum is much nicer than the plastic piece it replaces. However, this does not have numbers for the placement according to the size pinion gear. I also needed the grind the arms down slightly to get it to fit flush.
