The AXE R3 motor is now IP67 protected. The motor has the proven HobbyWing waterproof sensor harness design to cope with complex and various climatic conditions.
Note: The above-mentioned IP67 protection level is splash-proof, water-resistant, and dust-proof under normal use. It is not permanently effective, and the protective performance may decrease due to aging. Extended water exposure (submersion) may lead to damage.
The motor has a built-in magnetic encoding sensor. The accuracy is 60 times better compared to the traditional sensor commonly used in brushless motors. The three-phase signal has excellent consistency and it provides accurate signals from the rotor position.
The XeRun AXE R3 motor is built-in with 4 sets of 25.4mm mounting holes, and 4 for M3/M4 respectively. If the frame mounting holes are 30mm, an optional motor mounting conversion plate is available for purchase.
