PRODUCT INFORMATION:
  • The vehicle depicted in this R/C assembly kit recreates the first-generation FORD Bronco on the cross-country CC-02 chassis. The first-generation Ford Bronco was relatively compact and extremely capable off-road, and this 4WD vehicle participated in numerous races thanks to custom fabrication teams of the day. The Baja Bronco edition was sold from 1971 to 1975 to commemorate its victories in prestigious Baja race events such as the Baja 500 and 1000. The Baja edition had a white and red body with a blue roof and black hood plus reinforced components such as suspension. This special Bronco enjoys great popularity even to this day!
CC-02 Chassis - Off Road, Evolved

Designed for a wide range of off-road scenes including rocky terrain, the CC-02 chassis' ladder frame is inspired by full-size vehicles and is the base for its superior durability. A 4WD setup employs the motor longitudinally behind the front axle with a separated gearbox and transfer case, and propeller shafts transmitting power to the differential gears front and rear. Four-link rigid suspension is employed front and rear, with CVA oil dampers for all-encompassing control, even on tricky rock sections. This model comes with spoke wheels and semi-pneumatic rubber tires.

    Features:
    • 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 395mm, width: 196mm, height: 215mm. Wheelbase: 242mm (Short wheelbase variant of the CC-02).
    • Lightweight, durable polycarbonate body.
    • The distinctive color scheme with red, white, and blue requires painting from the builder.
    • Matte-finish hood is recreated by stickers.
    • The CC-02 chassis has a ladder frame, which was inspired by full-size vehicles, provides both rigidity and allows stable performance even on tricky rocky and dirt roads.
    • 5-spoke wheels are paired with block pattern tires.
    • Includes short propeller shafts.

    Includes:
    • 1/10 Ford Baja Bronco CC-02 Kit
    • 540-brushed type motor

    Requires:
    • 2-channel radio
    • Steering servo
    • Electronic Speed Control (ESC)

First In Quality Around the World
First In Quality Around the World
Since its start with educational wooden models in 1948, Tamiya has unswervingly striven to be "First in Quality Around the World". This refers not only to quality with respect to products, but also to its dedication to the hobby industry as a whole. From the planning, design, mold construction, molding, and packaging to the various forms of graphic design found on the packaging, assembly manuals, etc., Tamiya's in-house manufacturing process allows for attention to detail indispensable for the pursuit of hobby excellence.

The phrase "Tamiya Standard" has come to be used among modeling enthusiasts the world over to describe the high level of quality unique to Tamiya. In fact, Tamiya's scale models possess such intricate detail that they are often described by modelling connoisseurs as "museum items". This stalwart commitment to total quality has launched Tamiya to the forefront of the world's hobby industry, and continues to promise an exciting future.

It all started in 1946, when Mr. Yoshio Tamiya, the founder, opened a saw mill and lumber business in Shizuoka. Tamiya ventured into modeling in 1948, with a scale wooden ship model kit. Since then, Tamiya has continued to grow, producing models known as "First in Quality Around the World".

In 1976, Tamiya entered the RC market with their first RC model, the Porsche 934 Turbo RSR. Now, having just passed the 30th Anniversary of the first Tamiya RC model, they are sold in markets both within the country and worldwide.

Tamiya America, Inc. sponsors the annual Tamiya/Con model contest and the Tamiya Championship Series races (TCS). TCS races are held monthly at venues around the country and culminate in the National Championship Event which is held once a year at the Tamiya America raceway that resides immediately adjacent to the distribution and administrative center. all the Tamiya products are available here at the largest online RC store.
