PRODUCT INFORMATION:
  • Increase your setup options for the TA07 PRO chassis with this 2mm thick carbon fiber center stiffener. This lightweight and rigid part fits neatly onto the center brace and rear stiffeners for more rigidity and stiffer pitch damping.

How this part works and when to use it:
This lightweight 2mm carbon fiber part links the left/right rear chassis stiffeners and the center cross brace. By linking these parts with the stiffener, the main chassis will flex less under acceleration. In a 4WD touring car, the main chassis will flex, from front to rear upon applying throttle like a “U”. Under low traction conditions this flex characteristic is desirable as it makes the car easier to drive. However, in high traction conditions, this flex trait can make the car feel sluggish. By adding the option cross brace, in high-traction conditions, you will notice the car has better acceleration and the car will have a snappier feel when applying throttle.
    • Carbon Fiber Stiffener (Center) x1
    • Screws for attachment included.
    • This item pairs perfectly with carbon fiber front (Item 54788) and rear (Item 54789) stiffeners.
    • Compatible with TA07 PRO chassis cars.
  • Package total weight: 17.00 grams (incl. packaging)

First In Quality Around the World
First In Quality Around the World
Since its start with educational wooden models in 1948, Tamiya has unswervingly striven to be "First in Quality Around the World". This refers not only to quality with respect to products, but also to its dedication to the hobby industry as a whole. From the planning, design, mold construction, molding, and packaging to the various forms of graphic design found on the packaging, assembly manuals, etc., Tamiya's in-house manufacturing process allows for attention to detail indispensable for the pursuit of hobby excellence.

The phrase "Tamiya Standard" has come to be used among modeling enthusiasts the world over to describe the high level of quality unique to Tamiya. In fact, Tamiya's scale models possess such intricate detail that they are often described by modelling connoisseurs as "museum items". This stalwart commitment to total quality has launched Tamiya to the forefront of the world's hobby industry, and continues to promise an exciting future.

It all started in 1946, when Mr. Yoshio Tamiya, the founder, opened a saw mill and lumber business in Shizuoka. Tamiya ventured into modeling in 1948, with a scale wooden ship model kit. Since then, Tamiya has continued to grow, producing models known as "First in Quality Around the World".

In 1976, Tamiya entered the RC market with their first RC model, the Porsche 934 Turbo RSR. Now, having just passed the 30th Anniversary of the first Tamiya RC model, they are sold in markets both within the country and worldwide.

Tamiya America, Inc. sponsors the annual Tamiya/Con model contest and the Tamiya Championship Series races (TCS). TCS races are held monthly at venues around the country and culminate in the National Championship Event which is held once a year at the Tamiya America raceway that resides immediately adjacent to the distribution and administrative center. all the Tamiya products are available here at the largest online RC store.
