  • The Racing Fighter makes its way to the X-SA (Expert-Semi-Assembled) series offering an all-around fun 2WD drive on off-road surfaces!

Kits are a big part of what we do here at Tamiya, but we also understand that some people may not have the time or confidence for the assembly of an R/C model – that is why we have come up with the X-SA (Expert-Semi-Assembled) series of models. Each product features a fully-assembled and setup chassis with our TEU-105BK ESC (electronic speed control) included, plus a fully painted body with the marking stickers already applied. All you need to do is provide the R/C equipment and battery pack, install it, and you’re ready to drive.

    Features:
    • 1/10 scale finished R/C model. Length: 400mm, width: 244mm, height: 134mm.
    • Polycarbonate body and wing are pre-cut and pre-painted, with marking stickers applied.
    • Ribbed front and square spike rear tires.
    • The DT-03 uses a tough monocoque frame. Big wheelbase (287mm) and tread (front: 221mm, rear: 208mm) measurements give it great performance on- and off-road!
    • Front arms have 25-degree skid angle for stable off-road driving.
    • Features a sealed rear gearbox with internal gear differential unit, plus a dust cover for R/C equipment.
    • A wide range of option parts is available to tune and customize your DT-03 chassis car.
    • Includes: TEU-105BK ESC (Electronic Speed Control)
    • Requires separately sold: R/C equipment, steering servo, 7.2volt battery pack and compatible charger.
  • Package total weight: 3000.00 grams (incl. packaging)
  • Package size: 36.00 x 55.00 x 34.00cm

First In Quality Around the World
First In Quality Around the World
Since its start with educational wooden models in 1948, Tamiya has unswervingly striven to be "First in Quality Around the World". This refers not only to quality with respect to products, but also to its dedication to the hobby industry as a whole. From the planning, design, mold construction, molding, and packaging to the various forms of graphic design found on the packaging, assembly manuals, etc., Tamiya's in-house manufacturing process allows for attention to detail indispensable for the pursuit of hobby excellence.

The phrase "Tamiya Standard" has come to be used among modeling enthusiasts the world over to describe the high level of quality unique to Tamiya. In fact, Tamiya's scale models possess such intricate detail that they are often described by modelling connoisseurs as "museum items". This stalwart commitment to total quality has launched Tamiya to the forefront of the world's hobby industry, and continues to promise an exciting future.

It all started in 1946, when Mr. Yoshio Tamiya, the founder, opened a saw mill and lumber business in Shizuoka. Tamiya ventured into modeling in 1948, with a scale wooden ship model kit. Since then, Tamiya has continued to grow, producing models known as "First in Quality Around the World".

In 1976, Tamiya entered the RC market with their first RC model, the Porsche 934 Turbo RSR. Now, having just passed the 30th Anniversary of the first Tamiya RC model, they are sold in markets both within the country and worldwide.

Tamiya America, Inc. sponsors the annual Tamiya/Con model contest and the Tamiya Championship Series races (TCS). TCS races are held monthly at venues around the country and culminate in the National Championship Event which is held once a year at the Tamiya America raceway that resides immediately adjacent to the distribution and administrative center. all the Tamiya products are available here at the largest online RC store.
